Joseph has nineteen years of experience in securities research and analysis having worked on both the buy-side and sell-side. In his prior role as a director and senior research analyst at Boenning & Scattergood, Joseph provided official coverage of 18 community banks in the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West. He also developed proprietary state-level reports and composite score rankings, helping institutional investors unearth undervalued and overlooked smaller banks during the pandemic. Joseph serves as a portfolio manager to the Appleseed mutual fund. Joseph began his career at Schneider Capital Management in 2004, where he served as Senior Vice President and was responsible for conducting buy-side research in the financial services, real estate, and energy sectors. During this time, he was also the lead analyst for 30 portfolio companies. Mr. Plevelich has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He previously obtained the Series 86 and 87 licenses, and he is currently a CFA® charter holder.
